The Creeper stalks the gang while they are at a dance.

Too Much Detail Recap

The gang are on their way to the school dance at an old barn when they come across a bank guard lying in the middle of the road. He regains consciousness long enough to give Fred a piece of paper and tell him that "The flame will tell the Creeper". They bring the guard to the bank president's house to recover.

At the barn dance, the Creeper ruins the party (attended by approximately 10 people and the gang by my count. They have a small class.). The Creeper shuts off the power to the barn. Fred has the idea to move the party to the Malt Shop. Scooby and Shaggy run into the Creeper while cleaning up after the dance.

Daphne reasons the Creeper wants the paper in a leap in logic. He doesn't actually say anything. He's a regular Pokemon with "Creeper! Creeper!" 

Daphne and Fred ditch Velma who's looking for her glasses to hide with Shaggy and Scooby. Velma follows them as soon as she finds her glasses.

Cue the chase scene...he's in love with an ostrich. This is the first episode I feel a little delirious watching. Mainly due to this song.

Shaggy and Scooby hide in a chicken coop. Scooby accidentally hatches an egg. The chick imprints on Scooby and the chick's barking is too adorable.

Velma, Fred and Daphne find a car with torn up negatives on the floor. Velma makes a snide comment about the idea of Shaggy and Scooby clues. Please! They often find clues and they always find the bad guy or the bad guy attacks them.

After the gang reunites, they follow the Creeper's footprints to a gorge. Fred has the bright idea to send Scooby across the ropes to unroll the bridge. Do they want to kill him?

Inside the cave, they find the hermit of the hills. He's welcoming and weird. The gang leaves him to his pot.

They are chased around the barn by the creeper before everyone falls into the haybaler. They are all baled by Scooby and the chick. Scooby unmasks the creeper to reveal the bank president.

The paper the guard gave them was a photo of the president robbing the bank as he did every night.
