Life with Loopy - Too Many Socks
KaBlam! S03E01 More Happiness than Allowed by Law
Quickly
Loopy clones her dad.
Thoughts and Details
The idea of cloning recurred in the 90s. Family Matters had Steve Urkel clone himself in "Send in the Clone". Multiplicity had Michael Keaton cloning himself. I don't think there's anything significant about this. Maybe one of these influenced Loopy, maybe it didn't. It's not always that deep.
Way Too Much Detail
Loopy is frustrated by her inability to get her father's attention. She turns the washer-dryer into a cloning machine and creates three clones. Larry and their mom start to feel the stress of a crowded house. Their mom is nearing a nervous breakdown over the amount of laundry and the lack of a washer-dryer. Why isn't one of the clones doing their work? Loopy feels overwhelmed by the attention. Loopy creates dozens of clones. Three of the dads decide they would rather cease to exist than deal with a mob of Loopies. The Loopies persist and they have to deal with an even fuller house.
